Participating in Research
All digestive cancers are under-researched in Europe, both in relation to the actual burden of disease and in comparison, to research investments in North America and Asia. As the voice of digestive cancer patients in Europe, we also want to participate in research projects that will allow us to understand better these types of cancer and will contribute to the generation of new tools for prevention and treatment.
Our Research Projects
At PerMiCCion, researchers are pioneering a transformative approach to understanding and combating CRC by exploring the gut microbiome (the ecosystem of microorganisms residing in the gastrointestinal tract).
PROMETCO is an example of a long-term project involving patients in clinical research. It aims to better understand routine clinical practice in mCRC.
We are pleased to be a part of the PERSIST consortium working towards better quality of life for people who have survived colorectal and breast cancer.
We are proud to be involved in this project working towards Advancing a precision medicine paradigm in metastatic COLOrectal cancer: Systems based patient stratification SolUtionS
A Phase Ia/b study of MEK1/2 inhibitor PD-0325901 or MEK-162 with cMET inhibitor PF-02341066 in RASMT and RASWT (with abberant c-MET) in Colorectal Cancer Patients
This survey is now completed – thank you to all those involved in making it relevant to our research for bettering the quality of lives for those living with these cancers. Find out more about our next steps on this project.
