Natasha Münch
Medical & Scientific Project Manager
At DiCE Natasha works on medical and scientific initiatives that assist our member organizations in gaining access to the best resources and highest quality cancer care for all European citizens.
Her passion for spreading cancer awareness and advocacy began during her university days in California, as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, evolving into a rewarding career in digestive cancers.
After obtaining a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, she hopped continents to pursue a PhD at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Her research focused on understanding the intertwined relationship between diet and the gut microbiome and it’s influence on the development and progression of Oesophageal Adenocarcinoma.
Utilizing her scientific skills in biomedical research, she previously worked as a freelance scientific writer and editor with clients from academia.
She calls Leuven, Belgium home but remains a sunny- coastal soul at heart.
