Georgiana Bobolicu

Georgiana Bobolicu is a strategic communications professional with more than a decade of experience in public relations, much of it focused on healthcare. Based in Romania, her work has involved developing public information and disease awareness campaigns covering various therapy areas, supporting patient education initiatives, and collaborating with medical and advocacy stakeholders.

Her interest in patient advocacy became personal after being diagnosed with gastric cancer in 2019, at the age of 34. That experience made her more aware of the gaps in awareness, access, and support that many digestive cancer patients face. Since then, she has become more involved in efforts to improve how patients are informed, heard, and represented.

As a member of the DiCE Patient Advisory Committee, Georgiana hopes to contribute both her professional skills and lived experience to support ongoing efforts to make digestive cancer care more responsive, inclusive, and patient-centered.
