Angelica Selander, is a cancer patient advocate from Sweden. In 2015 she was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer.
Through her own patient journey and experience with the Swedish healthcare system, she fights for a more generous and faster introduction of new therapies that can give longer lives to those living with severe cancers. She advocates for a more humane and life-centred approach to cancer treatment.
As a part of the DiCE PAC, she is helping to bring her views to key healthcare stakeholders in the overall European context and help others like her to get the best possible treatments available.
