Michael Kecht

Michael Kecht is a colorectal cancer survivor and patient advocate. Diagnosed with stage IIIC early-onset CRC at the age of 28, he has since dedicated himself to ensuring younger patients are heard sooner than he was.

As a Patient Advisor with Digestive Cancers Europe, a WeCAN Academy graduate, and a contributor to several European patient networks, he combines lived experience with scientific literacy to advocate for earlier diagnosis, better survivorship care, and genuine patient co-creation in research.
