Appendiceal Cancer Symptoms and Diagnosis

Symptoms

Symptoms of appendiceal cancers are mostly noticeable in the later stages of the cancer development, rather than in the early stages. If they appear, the symptoms might include:

  • Pain
  • Feeling bloated or growing abdominal size
  • A mass in the abdomen
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Feeling full soon after starting to eat
  • Pelvic discomfort or vague abdominal discomfort, usually on the right side
  • Hernias
  • Bowel obstruction or blockage
  • Inability to pass gas
  • Diarrhea
