A Decade of Learning and Advocacy: 10th DiCE Masterclass in Barcelona

From 2–4 July 2025, Digestive Cancers Europe celebrated a significant milestone with the 10th edition of the DiCE Masterclass. Held in Barcelona, this anniversary event brought together representatives from across our Member Organisations to mark ten years of learning, collaboration, and shared dedication to improving outcomes for those affected by digestive cancers.
The Masterclass has become a key annual fixture in the DiCE calendar, designed to build capacity and foster unity within our community. This year’s event featured a lively programme of expert-led scientific sessions and practical workshops, providing participants with valuable tools, new knowledge, and renewed enthusiasm to support their advocacy and patient engagement efforts.
Beyond the formal sessions, the event also fostered opportunities for connection. Many participants remarked on the strong sense of solidarity, trust, and openness that characterised their experience. Stories were shared, challenges discussed, and meaningful partnerships formed.
This special 10th edition served as a moment to reflect on a decade of progress and to anticipate what we can continue to achieve together. The openness, energy, and commitment shown by our Member Organisations again highlighted the strength of our collective voice.
As we persist in our efforts to improve early detection, access to care, and support for all those affected by digestive cancers, this Masterclass stood as a potent reminder of what can be accomplished when we unite behind a common goal.
We thank everyone who has been part of this journey so far and reaffirm our pledge to create meaningful change across Europe in the years to come.
