On September 12th in sunny Barcelona, DiCE, a member of the SAGITTARIUS EU Project, participated in the Horizon Europe Cancer Mission’s ‘Diagnosis and Treatment’ Cluster Meeting. This important gathering brought together teams from 12 different projects funded by the European Union, all working towards improving cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Each of the 12 projects in the cluster, including SAGITTARIUS, shared their progress, exchanging expertise and innovations in cancer diagnosis and treatment. The meeting focused on using new technologies and improving patient care. It also aimed to discuss issues affecting cancer research projects, such as inequalities and citizen engagement. Meetings like this are crucial steps towards better cancer care for patients. By bringing together experts from different areas, these discussions help translate research into real-world solutions that can improve diagnosis, treatment, and overall patient experiences.
