Investing in Impact: DiCE Supports Member Organisations through ECCAM Grants
This spring, Digestive Cancers Europe took a decisive step to strengthen its collective impact by dedicating the first round of grants to the European Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month (ECCAM) campaign.
A total of 11 Member Organisations were selected and awarded funding ranging from €1,000 to €1,500. These grants are designed to empower local initiatives that raise awareness, promote screening, and bring colorectal cancer prevention closer to communities across Europe.
By supporting on-the-ground activities, DiCE reinforces a core principle: meaningful change happens when strong European coordination meets local action. Each funded initiative contributes to a shared goal of earlier diagnosis and better outcomes for patients.
The response to this first round demonstrates both our network’s commitment and capacity to drive impact where it matters most.
Building on this momentum, a second round of operational grants will be launched in autumn. This next phase will continue to support Member Organisations in expanding their reach, strengthening their activities, and sustaining year-round engagement beyond awareness moments.
Together, we are not only raising awareness. We are building a stronger, more connected movement for patients with digestive cancer across Europe.
