Members Vote Gives Resounding ‘Yes’ to Budget and Plans at DiCE Annual General Assembly
June 10 – Digestive Cancers Europe was pleased to welcome 30 representatives of its Member organisations to its Annual General Assembly and to have received their continued support for plans for the future with accounts, budgets and projects being enthusiastically approved by majority vote.
The online meeting started with an informal networking session and moved into the main assembly where Members received an update on activities in 2020 and 2021 and into 2022. Accounts, budgets and plans were put up for vote as per Belgian legislation with all being accepted by way of majority votes – showing the renewed trust of our Members for another year. The announcement was also made that Jola Gore-Booth, DiCE Co-Founder and driving force of EuropaColon, the organisation from which DiCE grew, has decided to step down from the DiCE Board. DiCE thanks Jola for her unquantifiable contribution and unwavering commitment and is happy that the contact and connection will continue!
We invite all Members to download the presentations from the DiCE Member Zone and hope to see you all in person in Barcelona at next year’s Assembly. If you have any questions please contact us.
