The Board of Digestive Cancers Europe,  with sincere regret, has received the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer Stefan Gijssels.
During his tenure Digestive Cancers Europe has made many notable strategic achievements, which are reflected in the organisation’s current position. He leaves an exceptionally talented team in place and the organisation in a healthy position for its continued growth.
The Board is grateful to Stefan and wishes him well in his future ventures.

At the same time, the Board is proud to announce the appointment of Zorana Maravic as Acting CEO. Zorana has been with the organisation for over 9 years, most recently in the role of Director of Operations. She is very well placed to lead DiCE in its next chapter of growth. She has the full support of the Board and we wish her great success.
