DiCE participated in the READI’s General Assembly Annual Meeting held on 28 – 30 January 2026, which was opened by the Regional Minister of Health of Madrid, Fátima Matute Teresa. The first day focused on practical workshops covering most of the READI Work Packages, while the following two days were dedicated to presenting the project’s main results and achievements to date. The next READI General Assembly meeting will take place in Brussels next year.

DiCE’s contribution to the READI project has been significant since the project began. We have actively participated in all meetings and discussions related to the inclusion of underrepresented and underserved communities in clinical trials. In addition, we have engaged closely with patient representatives from these communities, who provided valuable input during workshops on co-creation and on defining the concept of “community.”

DiCE also contributed to the Delphi study, which was linked to the project’s core objective of identifying key barriers and facilitators to inclusive representation in clinical studies across Europe.

In 2026, DiCE aims to further strengthen its involvement by actively participating in working groups and patient organisation community meetings, ensuring that patient voices continue to be heard and meaningfully represented within the READI project.
