The momentum towards the Fun Run Munich 2026 is building across Europe, and our community is already on the move.

On 3 July 2026, patients, healthcare professionals, researchers, advocates, and supporters will come together in Munich for a powerful moment of connection, awareness, and action in support of people affected by digestive cancers.

To help participants prepare, DiCE and Outdoor Against Cancer have launched a free 8-week 4×4 training programme designed for everyone, regardless of fitness level or previous running experience.

Built around the evidence-based 4×4 interval training method, the programme focuses on improving endurance, strength, and overall well-being through short, practical, and time-efficient sessions. Participants can choose between the non-competitive 5K run or 3K walk, making the initiative accessible, flexible, and inclusive for the entire community.

Importantly, this is not about speed or perfection. It is about consistency, movement, and showing up for yourself and for others impacted by digestive cancers.

During our recent Lunch & Learn webinar on 19 May, participants heard directly from experts at Outdoor Against Cancer, who shared practical advice on training, motivation, and building sustainable, healthy habits. One message stood out clearly: consistency matters more than perfection.

The movement is already gaining momentum across Europe, with participants sharing their progress, motivating one another, and helping raise awareness through the Fun Run poster tool and social media.

Whether you are walking, running, cheering from the sidelines, or participating virtually, every step sends a message of solidarity and hope.

The journey to Munich has already begun.
